Pricing & free with booking

How much does it cost?

Two plans, both billed monthly in U.S. dollars, both cancellable any time:

  • Starter — $4.99 / month. Up to 5 ACTIVE alerts. The right fit for one trip at a time.
  • Planner — $9.99 / month. Up to 20 ACTIVE alerts. Built for multi-trip families, complex itineraries, and Disney Cruise Line chasers.

"ACTIVE" only counts alerts that are currently watching. If you pause an alert (one click in your dashboard) it stops watching and stops counting against your cap — so you can rotate between watch lists without losing your configured alerts. Resume any time.

No setup fee, no minimum term. You pick the cap when you sign up and can switch between plans any time from your profile — the change is prorated, so you only pay the difference.

Which plan should I pick?

If you're planning one trip — say a 7-day Disney World run with a couple of dining alerts, a resort-room watcher, and a price-drop re-quote — Starter's 5-ACTIVE cap is plenty. And since paused alerts don't count, you can keep a small library of configured alerts and rotate which 5 are running this week.

Pick Planner if you're juggling two trips at once, watching a long DCL date range (sailings + rooms + dining all eat into your active cap), or just like having room to spare. You can always switch later — and if you ever hit the Starter cap mid-create, we'll offer the upgrade right there in the create-alert screen.

I'm a Fairytale Dreamers travel client — is it really free?

Yes, really. If your trip is booked through Fairytale Dreamers Travel, this service is on us — automatically — throughout your trip and for 30 days after.

You don't need a coupon code, a "client" tier signup, or special instructions. Just sign in to alerts with the same email address you used for your booking and your account shows up as a comp. The billing page will say "Comp — free" with your trip's end date.

How does the "free with my trip" work — do I need a coupon code?

No code needed. When your advisor confirms your trip, your email is added to our comped-clients list. The next time you sign in to alerts with that email, the system reads the comp window automatically.

If you used a different email for alerts than for your booking, forward your booking confirmation to contact@fairytaledreamerstravel.com and we'll line them up.

When does the free period end?

30 days after your return date. We pick "trip end + 30 days" because a lot of clients keep watching for the family who saw the photos and decided to plan their own trip. After day 30, the service quietly switches to the Starter plan ($4.99 / month, 5 ACTIVE alerts) — and we email you a week before that happens so it isn't a surprise. You can upgrade to Planner ($9.99 / 20 ACTIVE) from your profile if you need more headroom, or pause alerts you don't need this season (paused doesn't count).

If you cancel before the comp ends, no harm done — you just won't be charged when the window expires.

What happens if I cancel my trip?

If your trip is cancelled before it begins, the comp ends at the original return date the trip was booked for. You can keep using alerts at the Starter plan ($4.99 / month, 5 ACTIVE alerts) — or write us and we'll talk through options.

Can I cancel my subscription anytime?

Yes. Open Billing & profile from the app menu, click Manage billing, and cancel. The cancellation takes effect at the end of your current month — you keep alerts running until then so you don't lose the table you've been chasing.

Do you offer a refund?

If you cancel within 48 hours of your first charge and haven't received an alert yet, write us at contact@fairytaledreamerstravel.com and we'll refund that month. After the first month, charges are non-refundable — but cancellation is one click and takes effect immediately at the end of the cycle.

Is there a free trial for non-clients?

Not currently. The fastest path to "free" is to book your trip through Fairytale Dreamers Travel — you get the full agency (consultation, planning, advocacy with the operator) and alerts comes along. Talk to an advisor →

How it works

How often do you check for openings?

All day, every day. The exact cadence depends on the alert type — busier inventory turns over faster, so we check faster:

  • Dining (WDW, Universal, Disneyland) — every 10 minutes
  • WDW experiences (Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, Capture Your Moment, tours) — every 15 minutes
  • Resort rooms (WDW + Aulani) and Disney Cruise Line sailings — every 30 minutes
  • Trip price-drop re-quote — every 12 hours (Disney refreshes overnight; checking faster wouldn't catch anything sooner)

If a check fails (Disney rate-limits, throws a captcha, or 5xxes), per-target backoff kicks in — 1 minute, 2, 5, capped at 1 hour — and resets the moment a check succeeds. Errors don't burn through your day; we resume the normal cadence as soon as Disney does.

"Last checked: never"? Your alert was created less than one cadence cycle ago — we'll have run the first sweep by then. If it still says "never" after the cadence window passes (e.g. an hour for a dining alert), write contact@fairytaledreamerstravel.com so we can look.

How fast do I get notified?

Email goes out the moment we see the match — usually within seconds. If you opted in to text messages, the SMS arrives at about the same time.

The slowest link in the chain is usually your phone's lock-screen delay. Most people see the ping inside a minute of the table actually opening.

Will you book the reservation for me?

Not for paid subscribers — the reservation system's terms of use don't allow third parties to book on a guest's behalf without agency credentials, and we won't pretend they do.

What we do instead: every alert includes a one-tap link that drops you on the operator's own reservation page with the date, time, restaurant, and party size already filled in. Confirm and you're done.

Fairytale Dreamers travel clients are different. If your trip is booked through our agency, your assigned advisor can book the opening for you using our contracted agent access — ask them about booking-on-behalf when you set up an alert.

How is this different from refreshing the Disney app myself?

Two ways. First — we don't sleep. Cancellations happen at 2 AM, at noon, during dinner, during your meeting. We catch them all; you only check between meetings.

Second — we check every few minutes, all day, across as many restaurants and date combos as you set up. Doing that yourself is either a part-time job or an open browser tab that drains your battery.

What's the link in my email or text? Is it secure?

The link points directly to the operator's own reservation page with your alert's date, time, restaurant, and party size pre-filled as URL parameters. We don't intercept your card, your account, or your booking — Disney does. You confirm on Disney's own page.

The same link works whether you tap it on phone, tablet, or desktop. If you happen to be signed in to your Disney account on that device, the form pre-fills your name too.

Can I set multiple alerts?

Yes — up to your plan's cap. Same restaurant, different dates? Different restaurants, same date? Both? Go for it. Starter allows 5 ACTIVE alerts at once; Planner allows 20; comp clients get the 20 cap by default. Paused alerts don't count toward the cap, so you can keep a library of configurations and rotate which ones are running.

What happens after a hit — does the alert keep running?

By default, an alert auto-pauses after its first hit — once we ping you, we stop pinging you for the same alert so your inbox doesn't fill up with the same restaurant.

You can turn that off when you create the alert (uncheck "auto-pause") if you want every opening, every time. Either way, paused alerts are easy to resume from Your alerts.

Setup

How do I sign up?

Enter your email on the sign-in page. We email you a one-tap login link. Tap it and you're in. No password to create or remember.

Want a walkthrough with screenshots? See the step-by-step setup guide.

How do I add an alert?

From Your alerts, click + Add an alert. Pick a restaurant, choose your date range, set party size, and check the meal windows that work. Click Create alert and we start watching immediately.

Can I get text messages instead of email?

You can get both, or just one. Open Billing & profile, enter your U.S. mobile number, check the opt-in box, and save. From then on every hit goes to both inbox and phone.

Standard message and data rates apply (we don't charge per text; your carrier might). You can turn texts off any time from the same screen.

How do I update my phone number?

Open Billing & profile, change the number in your phone-number field, and save. The new number takes effect on the next hit.

How do I pause an alert?

From Your alerts, click Pause on the row. We stop watching that one until you resume it. Useful when you've grabbed your table but want to keep the alert for next trip.

How do I delete one?

Same row, click Delete. We confirm before removing — once it's deleted, the alert and its history are gone.

What we watch + don't watch

Which restaurants do you cover?

82 restaurants across three properties, all reservable. Full list shows up in the dropdown when you create an alert.

Walt Disney World (48): 'Ohana, Be Our Guest, Cinderella's Royal Table, Storybook Dining at Artist Point, Chef Mickey's, 50's Prime Time Café, The Hollywood Brown Derby, Le Cellier Steakhouse, California Grill, Topolino's Terrace, Space 220 (restaurant + lounge), Sci-Fi Dine-In, Tusker House, Liberty Tree Tavern, The Crystal Palace, Garden Grill, Boma, Sanaa, and 30 more — every signature, character, and table-service restaurant on property.

Universal Orlando (10): Mythos Restaurant (Islands of Adventure), Three Broomsticks (Hogsmeade), Confisco Grille, Lombard's Seafood Grille, Finnegan's Bar & Grill, Leaky Cauldron (Diagon Alley), The Kitchen (Hard Rock Hotel), Trattoria del Porto (Portofino Bay), Islands Dining Room (Royal Pacific), Strong Water Tavern (Sapphire Falls). OpenTable-routed restaurants (Cowfish, Toothsome, Bigfire, NBC Sports Grill) coming in the next pass.

Disneyland Resort (24): Blue Bayou, Cafe Orleans, Plaza Inn, Carnation Café, River Belle Terrace, Rancho del Zócalo, Oga's Cantina (Disneyland side), Carthay Circle Restaurant + Lounge, Lamplight Lounge + Boardwalk Dining, Wine Country Trattoria, Napa Rose, Storytellers Cafe, GCH Craftsman Bar, Goofy's Kitchen, Palm Breeze Bar, Great Maple, Splitsville, Naples, Céntrico, Paseo, Din Tai Fung, Jazz Kitchen.

Do you watch Universal Orlando?

Yes — Universal-direct dining is live. That covers every restaurant Universal books themselves: Mythos, Three Broomsticks, Confisco Grille, Lombard's, Finnegan's, Leaky Cauldron, plus hotel restaurants at Hard Rock (The Kitchen), Portofino Bay (Trattoria del Porto), Royal Pacific (Islands Dining Room), and Sapphire Falls (Strong Water Tavern).

Universal-area restaurants that book via OpenTable (Cowfish, Toothsome, Bigfire, Vivo, NBC Sports Grill, Antojitos) need a separate integration we'll ship in the next pass. Universal Express Pass alerts — also coming.

Do you watch Disneyland Resort?

Yes — Disneyland Resort dining is live. 24 restaurants across the Anaheim property: Blue Bayou inside Pirates, Cafe Orleans, Plaza Inn (character meal), Carthay Circle, Lamplight Lounge on Pixar Pier, Oga's Cantina (DLR side — distinct from the WDW one), Napa Rose at Grand Californian, Goofy's Kitchen, and 16 more spanning both parks, the three hotels, and Downtown Disney.

Disneyland Lightning Lane drops — coming on the same cadence as the WDW Genie+ work.

What about Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and other experiences?

WDW experiences are wired in too — Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique (Magic Kingdom Castle salon + Disney Springs Magic Mirror salon), Capture Your Moment PhotoPass sessions (six park-backdrop locations), Wild Africa Trek, Behind the Seeds, and 8 of the Backstage / VIP tours.

One note of honesty: BBB's online reservations were retired by the operator earlier this year — they ask guests to call (407) 939-5277. We watch for them to come back; the alert sits ready the moment they do.

Do you do resort rooms, Lightning Lanes, cruise alerts?

Resort rooms + discount drops are live — 31 WDW resorts across value (All-Stars, Pop Century, Art of Animation), moderate (Caribbean Beach, Coronado Springs, Port Orleans), deluxe (Polynesian, Grand Floridian, Contemporary, Wilderness Lodge, Beach & Yacht Club, Boardwalk, Animal Kingdom Lodge, Riviera), villa, and DVC. We watch bare availability and the discount-applied stream — Free Dining, Sun & Fun, AP, military.

Package price-drop watcher is live. Save a full trip (resort + dates + party + ticket type) and we'll re-quote it once a day; you get an alert the moment Disney drops the total by your threshold.

Disney Cruise Line and Aulani are live too — see the questions below.

Lightning Lane drops are the last big category on the build list.

Do you watch Disney Cruise Line?

Yes — sailing availability is live across all 8 active ships: Disney Magic, Disney Wonder, Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, Disney Wish, Disney Treasure, Disney Destiny, and Disney Adventure. Pick a sail date (or date range), party size, and one or more cabin categories — Inside, Oceanview, Verandah, Concierge — and we'll alert you the moment a stateroom opens.

Best use: sold-out Christmas / spring break sailings where a single cancellation re-opens inventory for a few hours.

Upgrade tracker ("alert me when a Verandah drops below my current Inside rate") is on the roadmap for Phase 1.5.

Do you watch Aulani Hawaii?

Yes — Aulani room availability + discount drops are live. All 12 room types covered: hotel-side (Standard View, Pool View, Partial Ocean View, Ocean View, Ocean View Tower) and DVC (Studio Villa, 1-Bedroom Villa, 2-Bedroom Villa, 3-Bedroom Grand Villa, each with standard or ocean view).

Discount streams we watch: Magic Key holder, AAA, military, Sun & Fun, AP — the same vocabulary as WDW resort discount drops, normalized for the Hawaii brand.

Why don't you book for me?

Two reasons. First — the reservation system's terms of use don't allow third parties to book on a guest's behalf without proper agency credentials. Pretending otherwise gets accounts banned and isn't fair to the operator.

Second — the one-tap pre-filled link is honestly faster. By the time we'd log in, charge you, and confirm, you'd already be booked. You confirm on Disney's own page in 30 seconds.

Travel clients of our agency have a different path — advisors can book on your behalf using our contracted agent access.

Are you affiliated with Disney?

No. We're not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with The Walt Disney Company, Universal, or any operator we watch. We check publicly available reservation pages on your behalf and link you back to the operator's own page when a match opens.

Fairytale Dreamers Travel — the agency behind alerts — is an independent Disney travel specialist based in Frederick, Maryland.

Privacy & support

What do you do with my email?

We use it to sign you in (the login link), to send alerts when tables open, and for billing receipts. That's the entire list. We do not sell, rent, or share your email with marketers.

Full privacy policy: fairytaledreamerstravel.com/privacy.

Where can I get help?

Email contact@fairytaledreamerstravel.com. A real person reads every message — usually within a few hours during U.S. East Coast business hours, next morning otherwise.

If you're a travel client, your assigned advisor also has access to your alerts account and can help directly.

How do the text-message alerts work?

Sign in, head to Billing & profile, add your mobile number, and check Yes — text me when an alert hits. We'll text you the moment a match opens, with a tap-through link to the operator's reservation page.

Quiet hours: we don't text between 9pm and 9am in U.S. Eastern time. Hard cap of 5 texts per phone per 24 hours so a flurry of matches can't blow up your phone (the email goes out either way).

Reply STOP anytime to stop the texts — instantly. Reply HELP for a link back to this page. Standard message + data rates apply (no per-text charge from us; your carrier may bill you). Re-opt-in from your profile page anytime.

What about my data when I cancel?

Cancelling stops billing immediately at the end of your cycle. Your account stays signed-in-able for 90 days after — so if you come back later, your alerts and hit history are still there.

After 90 days of no sign-ins, we delete the alerts and hit history. Email + phone stay on the billing record for tax purposes (the law requires us to keep these), but they're not used for anything else.

Want hard-delete sooner? Write us at contact@fairytaledreamerstravel.com and we'll wipe everything except what tax law requires us to keep.
