Privacy Policy

Fairytale Dreamers Travel ("we," "us") is an independent, Deaf-led travel agency. This policy explains what we collect when you use our website or work with us, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and specific on purpose.

What we collect

  • Contact & trip details you give us — your name, email, phone (if you share it), and the trip information you send through our forms, planning chats, and tools (party size, dates, accessibility needs, preferences).
  • Booking information — details needed to plan and book your travel. Card details are entered on Stripe's own checkout page. The charge itself is made by Made By 1891, our parent company, as merchant of record, so your statement reads MADE BY 1891* FDT TRAVEL. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Messaging consent — if you opt in to texts, we record that you consented, when, and the number.
  • A copy in your own browser — when you send one of our forms, a copy is also saved in your browser's local storage, so a dropped connection doesn't lose your message. That copy stays on your device; clearing your browser storage removes it.
  • Anonymous site analytics — we count visits and general location (country / region / city derived from network data), pages viewed, and time on site to understand what's useful. We do not store your IP address or use advertising cookies for this.

Text messages (SMS)

Our messaging program. If you opt in, Fairytale Dreamers Travel sends trip updates and time-sensitive reminders by text. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe, or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We never sell or share your phone number or your opt-in with third parties for their own marketing. Your consent to texts is used only to message you about your travel with us. Opting out of texts does not affect your ability to work with us by email or phone.

How we use it

  • To answer you, plan and book your travel, and provide the tools and perks you ask for.
  • To send you trip updates and, if you opted in, occasional emails or texts. Every email has an unsubscribe link; every text honors STOP.
  • To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it.

Who we share it with, and where it goes

We share information only with the service providers that help us run the business, and only so they can do their part:

  • Stripe — card payments. You enter your card on Stripe's checkout page; Made By 1891, our parent company, is the merchant of record for the charge.
  • Google — when you send one of our forms, it lands in a Google-hosted spreadsheet workflow our team runs. That is where trip requests and planning notes sit day to day.
  • Made By 1891 — our parent company runs the endpoints behind two pieces of this site: the feedback widget and the page-event beacon, both at events.madeby1891.com, plus the counter that produces the anonymous site analytics described above.
  • Email and text delivery providers — to send the messages you asked for.
  • Travel suppliers — Disney, the cruise lines, and the partners we book through, given only what a booking needs.
  • Our hosting and network providers — they serve and deliver these pages, so your requests pass through them.

These providers may only use your information to perform their service for us. We do not sell your personal information.

When you redeem a partner deal or coupon from our Perks page, we may share that you redeemed it with that specific partner so they can honor it and track the referral — never your full contact list, only what the deal requires.

How long we keep it

We keep client and booking records for as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal and accounting obligations, then remove them. Anonymous analytics are aggregate counts and are not tied to you. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).

Your choices & rights

  • Email: click unsubscribe in any email, or email us.
  • Text: reply STOP.
  • Access or deletion: email us and we'll show you what we have or delete it, subject to records we're legally required to keep.

Children

Our site and services are intended for adults planning family travel. We don't knowingly collect information directly from children. Trip details you share about your family members are treated as part of your booking.

Cookies

We use only the storage needed to make the site work (for example, remembering that you unlocked a free tool). We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
