Today's Disney Park Hours
Current operating hours for Walt Disney World's four parks plus Disneyland and California Adventure — pulled live, updated automatically, with live "Open Now" indicators based on your current time.
How to read these park hours.
Disney publishes operating hours roughly 6–9 months in advance, but they update them frequently up to a few weeks before — and occasionally on the day itself. The hours above are pulled from the open ThemeParks.wiki API, which mirrors Disney's official schedule.
What "Open Now" means
The pulsing green dot indicates a park is open at this exact moment based on your computer's clock and the park's local time zone. Magic Kingdom uses Eastern, Disneyland uses Pacific. The indicator clears the moment a park closes.
What this doesn't show
This dashboard shows the publicly advertised operating hours. It doesn't include:
- Extended Evening Hours — exclusive 2-hour add-on for Disney Resort guests on select nights.
- Early Theme Park Entry — 30-minute jumpstart for resort guests, available daily.
- Hard-ticket events — Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, Disney After Hours events. These often start during regular hours but require a separate ticket.
- Special closings — private events, weather-related, or special-needs closures.

Walt Disney World is roughly the size of San Francisco and about twice the size of Manhattan. Only about a third of the property is developed — the rest is conservation land or held for future expansion.
The dashboard now pulls Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach alongside the theme parks. Disney typically operates one water park at a time during off-peak months — the other is in refurbishment. The widget will show "closed" for the park that's down so you can plan accordingly.
Using park hours to plan park days
A few rules our team uses when reading hour patterns:
- Longer hours = bigger crowds, usually. Disney lengthens hours when demand is high. A 7am–11pm Magic Kingdom day is almost always more crowded than a 9am–9pm day.
- Park-hopping windows. Park Hopper tickets allow movement between parks starting at 2pm. The closing times above matter for hopper planning.
- Animal Kingdom typically closes earliest. Most days the AK closing time is 6pm or 7pm, even when other parks stay open until 10pm.
- Cross-reference with event calendars. If a park closes "early" at 6pm during fall, it's often because Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party takes over the park that night.
My favorite Disney days start with knowing which park has the longest hours that night — that's where the late-evening magic happens. Park hours are a planning lever, not just an FYI.
